New Original Tune: One of the Ones - RIP Dave Corson and NiK Smith

RIP Dave Corson

Here's a brand new original tune written this summer. It's been an intense year with friendships and actually losing two close friends to tragic accidents. This song is dedicated to my musical partner Ian Mathieu, skater Nik Smith and life-long friend Dave (Big Daddy) Corson. This song is a reflection on friendship, life's struggles and seeing beauty for where it truly lies --- in our personal relationships and experiences with those close to us...regardless if it's perfect or not.

Music is a huge part of my blog. I'm interested in and play everything from jazz to alt-country, no depression type music. Right now I'm working mostly with acoustic instruments and singer/songwriter type sessions. We are trying to create a very natural, organic and independent music/sound that is true to multiple styles of music. You'll hear many of the instruments that have defined what has quickly become a national treasure: roots based, americana, alt-country music.

Apple Hill Studios is a small, warm room full of vintage pianos, guitars, drums, banjos, B3 and a Leslie speaker. My vision for this room is nothing more than to have a friendly and inviting atmosphere that inspires true music.

It's great to see people take a love for music and turn it into a passion for playing. Beginning to advanced lessons are available in piano, guitar and organ. Learn in a comfortable studio setting.
