Tomorrow Is A Long Time

Another hallway recording using my Zoom H2 set at 196khz. This is natural reverb in a long, hardwood hallway with the mic about 5 feet away. I also added one of the cheesy, stock ProTools compressors called Maxim. I used the Radio Limiter preset. It definitely boosts things compared to my other tracks but I can't tell if it's just smashing it and destroying the dynamics. Either way, the sound is not too bad for a cheap home system.

Tomorrow Is A Long Time has always been one of my favorite Dylan tunes.

Music is a huge part of my blog. I'm interested in and play everything from jazz to alt-country, no depression type music. Right now I'm working mostly with acoustic instruments and singer/songwriter type sessions. We are trying to create a very natural, organic and independent music/sound that is true to multiple styles of music. You'll hear many of the instruments that have defined what has quickly become a national treasure: roots based, americana, alt-country music.

Apple Hill Studios is a small, warm room full of vintage pianos, guitars, drums, banjos, B3 and a Leslie speaker. My vision for this room is nothing more than to have a friendly and inviting atmosphere that inspires true music.

It's great to see people take a love for music and turn it into a passion for playing. Beginning to advanced lessons are available in piano, guitar and organ. Learn in a comfortable studio setting.
